Refund policy

At Lady Grape, every bottle is chosen and prepared with care - beautifully packaged and sent to bring a touch of joy to your day. I want you to love every order you receive, and I’ll always do my best to make things right if something isn’t as expected.

Age Verification & Legal Compliance

I only sell wine to customers aged 18 or over.
By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
I may request valid photographic ID before dispatching your order, and if I can’t verify your age, I’ll cancel the order and issue a full refund.
Deliveries may also require proof of age upon arrival, in line with the Licensing Act 2003.

Your Right to Cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel most online purchases within 14 days of receiving your order.

However, this right does not apply to goods that:

  • Are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly (including wine once opened), or
  • Have been unsealed after delivery.

You’re welcome to cancel your order before it’s been dispatched.
Once received, I can only accept returns if the bottles are unopened, in their original packaging, and in resaleable condition.

Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Orders

If your wine arrives damaged, faulty, corked, or incorrect, please contact me within 30 days of delivery at amy@ladygrape.com.
Include your order number and photos of the bottles and packaging.

I’ll arrange a replacement or full refund, including any delivery costs, as quickly as possible.

Quality Concerns

If you believe your wine is faulty (for example, due to cork taint or oxidation), please contact me promptly.
I may ask you to return the affected bottle(s) for inspection.
If confirmed, I’ll happily provide a replacement or refund.

Returns Process

To arrange a return, please email amy@ladygrape.com.
I accept returns within 30 days of delivery, provided the bottles are unopened and in their original packaging.

Once your return is approved, I’ll send you:

  • A return shipping label (if applicable)
  • Instructions on how and where to send your parcel

Please ensure bottles are securely packaged to prevent breakage during transit.
Unless the item is damaged or faulty, return postage costs are your responsibility.

Refunds

Once I’ve received and inspected your return, I’ll let you know whether it’s been approved.
Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 14 days.

Please note:

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable unless Lady Grape is at fault.
  • Refund processing times vary depending on your bank or card provider.
  • If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, please email me at amy@ladygrape.com.
